Project Overview

Since May 2007 Civil Society Institute has been implementing Perfection of Non-commercial Legislation project1 in cooperation with ECNL and with financial support of European Union. project1 aims at improvement of legal environment and state funding through perfection of legislation. Within the framework of the project1, following activities have been scheduled:

• Trainings and free of charge consultations for non-governmental organizations aimed to rise level of public legal awareness;
• Study of existing means of state funding;
• Elaboration of state funding perfection tools;
• Study of practical implementation of amendments to Civil Code of Georgia;
• Study of practical use of Charity status acquisition and related tax exemptions.
