On December 13-14 in Bakuriani Hotel Villa Palace working meeting has taken place dedicated to discussion of the draft law on State Grants. Working meeting has been attended by representatives of executive authorities, non-governmental sector and donor organizations.

Current regulations of state grants have been discussed and article-by-article discussion of the new draft law has taken place.

Draft law on State Grants establishes new means of state funding. Certain model enabling relations between public and civic sectors with regards to financial issues has been provided for. Draft law aims to strengthen general principles of issuing, receiving and using state grants thus ensuring transparency of budgetary expenditures.
