LEGAL PROGRAM

The principal objective of the Legal Programme is to establish the fundamental principle of rule-of-law in Georgia and to contribute to the process of evolution of rule-of-law state.

PROGRAMME PRIORITIES:

The principal priorities of the Programme are provided below:

  • Improving legal regulations;
  • Ensuring transparency of law-making process;
  • Improving enforcement of legal regulations;
  • Raising legal awareness;
  • Lobbying for public interests in law-making process.

Project Title: Civil Society in Legislative Process

Project Overview

The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the transparency of law-making process in the Parliament of Georgia and Supreme Council of Adjara Autonomous Republic, to ensure involvement of civil society in law-making process, to inform civil society of legislative changes, to deliver legal consultancy services.

Project Overview

The objective of Project is to improve legal environment and legislative processes in Georgia through creation of public control mechanisms. More specifically, to ensure transparency of the legislative process in ministries of Georgia and Supreme Council of Adjara Autonomous Republic, to deliver legal consultancy services to ministries and Adjara Supreme Council, to ensure involvement of civil society in law-making processes in the Country.
