The principal objective of Economic Development Programme is to contribute to the process of overcoming economic crisis in Georgia.
PROGRAMME PRIORITIES:
Main Priorities of the Programme are enumerated below:
- Overcoming poverty through employment support;
- Improvement of general business environment;
- Contribution to the development of small and medium-size enterprises.

Project Overview
The principal objective of the Project is contribution to unemployment level reduction and poverty eradication processes in Samegrelo Region. The project aims at producing employment opportunities for low-income residents of Samegrelo region, increasing employment potential of small enterprises through small business development, improving overall operating environment of small business enterprises through strengthening collective position of business owners and advocacy practices.
